The party believes that the United States is a Christian nation founded on the basis of the Bible and that jurisprudence should be restored to what the party claims is its "Biblical foundations". It has been described by its critics as a theocratic party, as with its predecessor, the U.S. Taxpayers Party. The party is considered a far-right political party.

- Republican philosophy leans more towards individual freedoms, rights and responsibilities.
- Republicans prefer increasing military spending and have a more hard line stance against countries like Iran, with a higher tendency to deploy the military option.
- The Constitution Party believes that the right to bear arms is inherent in the right of self defense.
- The Constitution Party opposes the distribution and use of all abortifacients.
- The Constitution Party opposes any legal recognition of homosexual unions.
- The Constitution Party supports the death penalty.
- The Constitution Party believes that the federal income tax is unconstitutional.
- The Constitution Party opposes raising the minimum wage because it hurts businesses.
- The Constitution Party favors a small government — both in terms of the number of people employed by the government and in terms of the roles and responsibilities of government in society.
- The Constitution Party opposes the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
- The Constitution Party believes that these laws are necessary to prevent voter fraud.
- The Constitution Party believes that the private sector can provide most services more efficiently than the government can.
- The Constitution Party wants to only allow legal immigrants through tightly controlled borders. they also want to reform & toughen immigration system to emphasize family, as they believe that amnesty only encourages illegal immigration.
- The Constitution Party doesn't want any federal college loans; rather, they just want to insure private loans.
- The Constitution Party believes that families are the cornerstone of our culture, so they support the increase of abstinence, the reduction of child welfare caseloads, and encourage adoption.
- The Constitution Party favors a non-interventionist policy.
- The Constitution Party supports employee ownership over union elites, as they believe that the best jobs program is economic growth.
